Day 1: Arrive Siem Reap-Angkor Complex (-/L/D)

Arrive in Siem Reap; in the morning start your day to exploring the failed temples of Angkor and ancient capital of the Khmer empire. Visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom as well as Ta Prohm temple. Ta Prohm temple has been only partially restored and thus offers an interesting insight on how the Angkor complex looked before being rediscovered by the French explorers. Return to your hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon visit the temple of Banteay Srey translates to “Citadel of women” and displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. The walls are indeed covered with some of the most beautiful carving of any Angkorian temple. Day 2: Angkor Complex (B/L/-)

After breakfast, we go on to explore the most complete temple of Angkor Wat, this architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12^th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple, after get sense of this vibrant city, back to the hotel for refreshment or free shopping at the old market with the French colonial building before transfer to the airport for onward flight.
