Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Siem Reap-Angkor Complex (-/L/D)
Upon arrive in Siem Reap airport; welcome by our guide and transfer to hotel for express check-in and we will visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom: included South Gate of Angkor Thom with its majestic doors, Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of Leper King and Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Giant trees have grown there for centuries. In the afternoon, we continue to visit Angkor Wat the 7th World Heritage Wonder, the founder was Suryavarman II who reigned in Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and we drive onward to visit sunset at Pre Rup temple, Rest of the day spent at your leisure to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap. Day 2: Beng Mealea-Phnom Kulen-Banteay Srey (B/L/D)
A delicious breakfast in the hotel, we drive to the remote temple of Beng Mealea, through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in the approximately 2 hours drive as it takes you through many lively villages and along kilometers of rice paddies. Explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. Visit of the temple and transfer to the Phnom Kulen Mountain; drive up to the summit of the Phnom Kulen, the sacred mountain of the Khmer. Lunch boxed will be providing on the site. In the afternoon, we take a bath at the waterfall and trekking across the forest and the villages afterward we return to the “gem” of the Angkor area, the pretty temple of Banteay Srey. The so-called “Citadel of the Women” displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. Rest of the day spent at your leisure to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap. Day 3: Angkor Complex (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we go on to visit the Rolous Group temples. These temples are 11 Kilometers (6.8 miles) southeast of the Siem Reap, Upon reaching Rolous we have plenty of time to explore the three temples of these area (Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko). In the afternoon, after refresh up at the hotel, we will visit Artisans d’Angkor and see their stone and wood carving workshops where the artisans are taught to use traditional Khmer techniques, afterward we go on to visit old market where you can see the fresh local produce being sold as well as browse the souvenir stalls and the French colonial building. Rest of the day spent at your leisure to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap. Overnight stay in Siem Reap
Day 4: Tonle Sap (B/L/-)
After breakfast, drive to Tonle Sap Lake, then boating to visit the Chong Kneas floating village and its lacustrine population and enjoy the Sea-like panorama of Tonle Sap then sail to visit Kampong Plouk village and its house-on-stills. Many birds can be watched on the way before back to hotel. In the late afternoon, visit Wat Atwea (Pagoda temple). Rest of the day free at your leisure until transfer to airport for onward flight, End of our services
