Day 1: Siem Reap

Arrival at Siem Reap. Transfer to the Hotel. Visit of the city and cruise with the boat on the Occidental Baray for sunset. Overnight in a Hotel in Siem Reap. (-/L/D)

Day 2: Siem Reap

Visit of the main temples of Angkor Wat on the small and great circuit. Walk through the forest of Angkor, avoiding the main road on unpaved roads to join the temples. 1h aromatherapy massage. Night spent in a Hotel in Siem Reap. (B/L/D)

Day 3: Siem Reap-Beng Mealea-Koh Ker

Morning, drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in the approximately 2½ hours drive as it takes you through many lively villages and along kilometers of rice paddies. Explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. Lunch box will be provided at the site. Depart for Koh Ker. A 10th century capital abandoned in the remote north of Cambodia for more than a thousand years. Our team set up camp while we enjoy a visit to the pyramid temple of Prasat Thom. Continue to explore the many temples at this incredible site, including the beautiful

Day 4: Koh ker – Phnom Kulen

Transfer to Phnom Kulen and join the pilgrim path to walk up this sacred mountain of the Khmers. Swimming in the waterfall, then we carry on to the summit of the mountain to a pagoda for the overnight camp. Camp overnight on the mountain. 2h trekking with a average level of 300 m. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Phnom Kulen-Kbal Spean-Banteay Srei-Siem Reap

At early morning we plunge into a colorful surrounding such as high grass meadow,

limestone clearing and deep jungle, to discover the exceptional site of Srah Dumrei, immense monolith sandstone of the Xth century representing elephants and lions, lost in the deep jungle. We leave the summit of the mountain with a vehicle for Kbal Spean, the sculptured river of the “thousand lingas”. Visit of the site on walking. We carry on by vehicle up to the temple and village of Banteay Srei. Visit of this temple and returning to Siem Reap before nightfall. Hotel in Siem Reap. 3h of trekking with an average level of +/-150m (B/L/D)

Day 6: Tonle Sap Lake

Visit the Artisans d’Angkor, sculptors of stone. Visit the old market. Walk along the

Siem Reap river towards the lake to see the village life in rustic decor. Depart by boat. Each year, the water level of Tonle Sap, the Great Lake of ambodia varies from 4 to 8 m and flooded all the land and forests in this region (from August to January). We can enter through the wooden canoes these flooded forests. Or when the waters are low, we see the floating villages and go back the Sangker River, along which the reserve of Prek Toal bird. Visit other floating villages with their fishing technique, ponds and farms crocodiles. Night in a floating village in home stay. (B/L/D)
